Store-Level Positions

Sales Team Member

Hutch’s Sales Team Members are our customers first impression of our stores.  They are on their feet for the full 8 hour shift, working to meet our customers needs as well as ring accurate sales transactions. Sales Associates are also responsible for maintaining store cleanliness and general merchandising.  The ideal associate is highly energetic, loves interacting with people, and maintains a great attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Deli Team Member

Deli Team Member have a passion for helping us provide customers the freshest food as fast as possible.  They are responsible for all aspects of food prep, ensuring warmers and coolers are fully stocked, and following procedures for cleanliness of equipment and proper food temperatures as well as general store cleaning.  The ideal associate is highly energetic, loves interacting with people, and is self-motivated.

Floor Team Member

Floor Team Members are responsible for the cleanliness of all areas of the store, both inside and out.  Many times they provide routine maintenance on equipment, including fuel pumps.  Floor Associates must be able to climb ladders, perform repetitive stooping and bending, and handle products weighing up to 50 pounds.  The ideal associate takes pride in the store’s appearance and works to ensure every customer experiences a clean, well-maintained store.

Assistant Manager

Assistant Managers assist the Store Managers with completing store paperwork, payroll, scheduling, inventory controls as well as performing the duties of Sales and/or Deli Associates.  The ideal Assistant Manager is a highly energetic person who is able to lead by example and prioritize their job duties so that the highest level of customer service is provided.  Some computer skills are preferred, as is previous management experience.  In addition, this person must be able to maintain a great attitude and customer focus in a fast-paced environment.

Store Manager

Store Managers are responsible for all aspects of the store, including recruiting, hiring and training, maintaining cash and inventory, and merchandising while ensuring each customer receives outstanding service.  Managers are essentially responsible for running a small business, with the help of an established company behind you.  The ideal Store Manager must be able to demonstrate previous success in a management position as well as possess some computer skills.  In addition, this person must be highly energetic who is able to maintain a great attitude and customer focus in a fast-paced environment.
